Athletics-leics.com has been designed to provide an up-to-date information resource on the sport of athletics for the county of Leicestershire in the United Kingdom.

From running to track and field, young athlete to university athletics, the site coverage features the full range of the sport from elite athletes through to the local grass-roots leagues and events. Bringing together the latest news articles, race reports, event reviews and results, along with contact details for every running club in the county.

The site also features a 'live' link to the BBC Sport athletics web-site, providing a daily up-date of international and domestic athletics news direct to your desk top.

Throughout the athletics year many events both national and international are to be featured, from the inter-counties championships to the major road races and the IAAF Grand Prix circuit, TDK IAAF Golden League, the Commonwealth Games, the Olympic Games and the IAAF World Championships.

The university athletics pages feature news, views and results from the students and elite athletes that are based both at the UK Athletics High Performance Centre at Loughborough University and the athletes who represent the University of Leicester Athletics Union.

Sponsorship/Advertising

Athletics-leics.com is continually looking for exclusive advertisers/sponsors to associate with the website.

The website is active all year round with a variety of offerings to potential sponsors/advertisers wishing to associate their name with one of the most successful independent athletics sports web-sites in the United Kingdom.

The rates are flexible and range from one month, six months or even a twelve-month tenure for a single fee.

All sponsorship and advertising revenue contributes to the cost of maintaining the site and its continued development. Without our sponsors the web-site would be unable to champion our British athletics talent so any contribution is highly valued.

To request a rate-card or find out more about this opportunity simply contact the site editor.
